Letter from Mr. Whitenack:
We need an organization to help with this meet we're running. It's a long day with lots of important jobs, so the help you guys offer is super important.
We will start to need help around 8am and last until around 5pm, so scheduling the kids in and out might be pretty important. Mostly I need the kids to be assistants at the events, like helping rake and measure at the long and triple jump, reset the bar at high jump and pole vault, retrieve discs and shot puts, help shuffle items around the track, etc... I will also need a couple to serve as a runner between the track and the booth, and to assist the referees with whatever they need. And there are always a dozen little fires to put out at any given time that I might ask them to help with.
This is a great opportunity to pile up community service.
