Competition Schedule and changes

There are some changes to the comp schedule.  Please look over.  Thank you!

• Nov 2 UCA Southern CO regional in Pueblo-
• Colorado State Fair Events Center
• 1001 Bealuh Ave, Pueblo 81004.
• Event starts at 1pm.  Schedule is issued Oct 28th.  Adults $10/kids $5
• Nov 6- Continental League Comp at CVHS! Both JV and V
• Volunteers receive free entry.  Contact Sandra Burrier to Volunteer.  sandraburrier@comcast.net
• Event is approx. 4-10pm
  No permission slip
• Nov 9- Varsity and JV at Greeley West Winter Blast
• Greely West High School 2401 35th ave Greeley CO 80634
  Time- 5:00pm-8:30pm.....doors open at 2:30
• Adults and kids 9 and over $7.
  Look for permission slip
• Nov 16- UCA Mile High Championship V only 
• National Western Complex, 4655 Humboldt Street, Denver, CO 80216
• $10 adults/$5 kids
• Handout with permission slip due asap
• Nov 23 Spirit for Change. V maybe JV
• Rock Canyon High School hosting.
• Look for permission slip
• Dec 6 CHSAA Varsity State.  JV expected to attend after school.
• Denver Coliseum
• Handouts with directions and pictures info handed out.
• No permission slip

• Dec 14 CSCA JV State.  Varsity expected to attend.

I am making a special shirt for those attending the Sept community service- the breast cancer walk.  I have been coaching for over 17 years and have known a lot of families to have lost family members to various cancers and also several families to have survivors.  I would like to make a shirt that recognizes our families/dear friends loved ones that are survivors and those who have passed.  If interested in putting a name on the shirt- Just give me the name and let me know if they have passed or are a survivor.  (If you have one or two words that you want attached, I might be able to fit it in.  Just let me know and I will do my best.)

Varsity comp team

Many long hours have been spent trying to decide what is best in the competitive world for our team.  Small varsity with a max of 4 guys and 16 girls will be our category.  As of right now, we will compete 16.  3 without tucks maybe replaced if not hitting your skills.  There are approx. 6 that are very close as well.  Standing tuck and round off tuck are two big tumbling skills to have/get.  There are nearly 10 fulls.  Please step up and here we gooooo!  Spelling is going to be off- forgive me....

Ivy, Remi, Abby, Shea, Rebecca, and Keila- Please let coach Elijuan know if you will be competing with JV or not by Thursday evening.  First alternates will be determined by tumbling skills first.  We will sit as a group to go over schedules asap so we know that everyone understands where and when to be.
