League and this weekend

Helo all- well...here we go!

• Cheer league competition is at DCHS main new gym.  League check-in is at 4pm for coaches and spectators can get in starting at 5pm.  The competition itself starts at 6pm.
• If you ordered a shirt, it will be picked up by coaches at check-in.  Each team is given a classroom to use in order to get ready.  I suggest that they do their home work in the time between. 
• JV cheer is first to go and Varsity cheer is last.  Both of our teams are the only co-ed teams.  So, this is not really a competition for us.  We will both be considered the league champs in our divisions.  However, we will receive score sheets that will be great for feedback.  Also, tech judges will be there to look over our routines.
• JV- check-in at warm ups at 5, compete promptly at 6pm.
• V- Warm up check in 6:50 and compete at 7:45.
• After V, there will be an exhibition from UNC and then awards.
• Teams will then meet briefly with coach and go.
• Varsity competes twice on Saturday. 
• First competition is at Eagle crest HS in Aurora.  Our poms team will also be at this competition.  They have two routines.  Jazz at 12:35 and hip hop at 1.  Varsity cheer will do their best to watch, however, this is when we have warm ups.
• Varsity co-ed is at 12:30 for warm ups and compete at 1:10.  We will not stay for awards.  I will ask one of the poms to rep our group and call me with results.  We will receive the results, and I will ask that those are given to us Monday.
• Second competition is at Greeley West HS.  This competition starts at 4:50.    Please be there by 5pm.  NO later!!!!  Varsity co-ed competes at 7:55.  Warm-ups at 7:35pm.  I am going up straight from the first comp.  If anyone needs a ride, please let me know ahead of time.  HOWEVER, I will very likely be staying in Fort Collins for the night.  Undecided. 
• Eagle Crest HS- 5100 S Picadilly St, Aurora, CO 80015-3300 and Greeley West HS 2401 35th Ave, Greeley, CO 80634-4102.  PLEASE CHECK THESE.  I map quested this and it takes 1 hour 10 minutes from Aurora to Greeley.  It is 1 hour 33 minutes from Greeley West HS to Castle View.  Just a FYI
• Parents- please wear your CV shirts!  Also- a trend at most competitions now is to let families/friends/teammates to watch their team then it is their turn- in front of the mats.  They rotate in/out at each performance.  Soooo, getting a seat front and center is not necessarily important. 
• Next weekend- Varsity at UCA National Qualifier at Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver.
